问: 邱老师,能不能谈谈您所练的新垵五祖拳的历史渊源?
邱靖娜老师: 厦门新垵五祖拳发源于福建省,由祖师蔡玉明所创. 祖师蔡玉明生前精通中国南北各派武技, 后来,他融会一生所学之精华,并结合自己的实际经验,创出了一种全新的武学流派—-五祖拳. 关于五祖拳, 目前流传两种说法. 一． 是我们新垵村所坚持的看法,既五祖拳是 白鹤,太祖,达尊,猴拳和玄女拳的合并蔡玉明把上述五种拳法经过整理加上后来所学北派拳法创编成一种有别于原来五种拳法的一种新拳种；二
除此而外,还有另外一种说法：五祖拳是白鹤 ，猴，罗汉，达尊，太祖五种拳法的合称。今天我们所说的五祖拳指的是第一种说法, 因为我们认为达尊和罗汉是同一种武术流派。
祖师蔡玉明在创成五祖拳之后, 为进一步提高他的武学技艺, 从师于山东省的林鹤阳拳师. (林鹤阳拳师也称为”鹤阳师”). 鹤阳师主要传他中国北派腿法. 之后, 先师蔡玉明又拜了位师傅. 这个师傅是一名女拳师, 她的名字叫什么,我们现在不知道. 我们只知道她曾住在漳州.她是当时的 “道台夫人”.道台夫人传蔡玉明地术法, 地术法是一种能在倒地的情况下,转败为胜的一种功夫.山东省鹤阳师的北派腿法及漳州市道台夫人的地术法进一步丰富了五祖拳,使之更系统化, 理论体系更加严密. 后来,我们给它取了个名字,叫做 “五祖鹤阳拳”.
问: 五祖拳的创始人蔡玉明先后师从七位师傅, 不同的师傅传授他不同的武技. 正因为此, 我想五祖拳的内容应该非常庞大, 有很多套路. 请问, 套路与套路之间都有什么联系,他们如何相互影响?
邱靖娜老师: 我们五祖拳有七套战拳, 每套战拳献给其中的一位师傅, 而其他南拳门派,他们只有三套战拳. 在五祖拳中, 每套战拳都带有不同师傅所传的拳术风格. 这七套站拳是用来纪念祖师蔡玉明的七位师傅的....
